If the public has any information that could aid the police in locating a suspect, the police would be very grateful. The majority of these criminals are known to friends and family, and after being on the run they tend to rejoin society.
Therefore, the general public is being asked to assist in locating Keke Ndibe. This is to allow him to assist the Hawks' Bloemfontein-based Serious Organized Investigation Unit with their investigation into the robbery and murder of a police official.
Approximately at 19:00 on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, two robberies of businesses occurred in Wepener. At the complaint of an armed robbery, Wepener's South African Police Service (SAPS) officers arrived on the scene.
A gunfight broke out after the suspects opened fire on the police. One SAPS member was critically wounded and died at the scene, while another was injured. Already, five suspects have been taken into custody.
If you have any leads that could lead police to Ndibe, please contact Lt. Colonel Babane Skota at (079) 509 4998. Every piece of information you share with us will be treated confidentially.
