It's become common for missing people to be discovered dead, with their body parts taken and sold for a variety of causes, mostly witchcraft. Only a week ago, the death of a missing six-year-old girl sent shockwaves across the country after one of the people involved in her disappearance and murder confessed to harvesting her body parts for sale for witchcraft purposes.This tragedy does not only affect children, adults are also affected, as this unnamed man was discovered mutilated and with missing parts.
Detectives from South African Police Service (SAPS) Jeffreys Bay are asking for the public's help in locating the next of kin of an unnamed male whose death was discovered in bushes on Tuesday afternoon, May 24, 2022.
Police were allegedly notified of a decomposing body of a man lying in bushes behind the new RDP dwellings in Pellsrus on the specified day at around 16:00. On his head and torso, the corpse had multiple open wounds. On his chest, there was a big laceration. Some of his organs are reported to have been mossung.
The body was also believed to have been dumped in the bushes, according to police. The deceased is a black man between the ages of 30 and 40. He was dressed in a red shirt and blue denim jeans.
A murder case is now being investigated. All information is kept private, and callers have the option of remaining anonymous.
