A 22 year old mother killed her own child by pressing a pillow in his face to suffocate him because he was a hindrance to her party lifestyle.
Maike Musowe and her boyfriend Mwila chilufya Bwipwa are detained at Kabwata police station facing charges of murder.
According to sources, Maike who is originally from Copperbelt came to stay with her sister in Lusaka.
Maike's life of late night party led her to neglecte her son, her son was be coming a Budden to her she decided that it was time to kill him with the help of her lover.
She got a pillow and pressed it in her child's face suffocating him until he was unable to breath, after killing her son she sneaked out of room with the lifeless body of the boy.
Her old sister went to check on the boy but he was unresponsive so she immediately rushed him to the hospital were he was confirmed dead.
