Western Cape couple found dead in bedroom with gunshot wounds to their heads

Western Cape police are researching the demise of a couple discovered dead in their room with slug wounds to their heads. 

Common police representative Capt Malcolm Pojie said the couple's child made the terrible find on Thursday. The couple lived in the suburb of Lavalia in George. Pojie said a primer examination showed that the "59-year-old spouse and 61-year-old wife were most recently seen alive by their child when he left his parent's home" after 5pm on Thursday. 

"At the point when he returned at about 7pm that very day, he found the assemblages of his folks in the room. Both had wounds to their heads," said Pojie. 

"Conville police, who were subsequently joined by criminal investigators and criminological specialists, reacted the to the scene after a telephonic report. Upon appearance they tracked down the two bodies with shot injuries, lying in the room. Legal specialists looked over the scene for proof and hints and discovered a gun in the room which was seized as proof. The gun will be sent for ballistic tests. Conditions encompassing the occurrence are being scrutinized."
