A young woman, Dimakatso Ratselane who works for Lesedi FM was found covered in a pool of her own blood by members of the community on Tuesday evening said Motantsi Makhele spokesperson of the SAPs in the Free State.
Makhele confirmed that Ratselane and her husband left their home in Mandela View on their way to pick up their children. It is alleged that the couple had a quarrel which resulted in a situation where she was stabbed multiple times.
Ratselane is the lady that does the evening slot between 6pm-7pm on the popular Sesotho radio station. A lot of people have shared their shock on social media over the attack.
She was found in a critical condition near a tavern around midnight in an informal settlement popularly know as Dinweng.
Makhele said her husband is a suspect and is still at large. Community members saw her lying down covered in blood and had suffered several stab wounds, she was rushed to the nearest hospital.
