A police officer in Kwazulu-Natal mysteriously disappears few days to his wedding.

Sergeant Simphiwe Phumlani Lucas Sibiya, who is deployed to a police station in Kwazulu-Natal, is being sought by police in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Captain Nqobile Gwala, a KZN police spokesperson, says Sibiya, a 43-year-old man, had last been seen by his mother at his house in the Ndikilini region of Mbongolwane at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20. And ever since then his whereabouts have been unknown.

The police have released a statement over his disappearance and serious work is been done to know where he is.

"He was due to be married on Sunday, October 24. Police have requested that anyone who may have information that can assist in finding Sibiya to contact the detective branch commander, Warrant Officer Hadebe." the spokesperson said in a statement.

My opinion:

If security personnel that is saddled with the responsibility to protect unharmed citizen can missing without the location of his whereabouts by the police, then a lot still needs to be done in equipping the police in South Africa.
