Remember the boy drowned in Seshego Dam, See where his body was found

After an incident on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in which two boys, ages 8 and 12, are said to have fallen into the water and drowned, police divers have been successful in retrieving the body of a 12-year-old boy from the Seshego Dam in Limpopo. The discovery of the boy's body comes as a result of the incident. 

The body of the child, who was 8 years old at the time, was found on the day that the incident took place, and the search for the other body continued on the 14th of August in 2022. The lads are claimed to have been swimming and crossing the dam while using white foam props as flotation devices, which is an incident that is said to be a common practice in the area.

The tragic event occurred when their "boat" flipped over in the middle of the dam, and both of the boys ended up drowning as a result. 

SECOND BODY RETRIEVED IN SESHEGO DAM 

According to earlier reports, the two youngsters, who have been identified as Kotsema Ramaru, age 9, and his companion Kubu Mashilo, age 12, both of whom are from Seshego Zone 5, were swimming with their pals when this sad tragedy took place. 

Since Saturday, members of the South African Police Service Search and Rescue have been leading the search. They had been putting in a lot of effort up until today at approximately 12:00, when they were finally successful in recovering the second body.
