Mzansi Left In Disbelief After Seeing A Report Revealing The Corruption In A Certain Municipality

Corruption is something that takes place in our daily lives, especially when we look into how governments are led. It is something that is not supposed to happen but it has been normalised, and it also affects how things function within government departments and eventually leads to affected citizens.

The South African government is one that is currently facing a lot of judgement from citizens because of the people who are put in positions to lead us. There has been a scandalous amount of news about corruption that is taking place as well as nepotism. Funds that are meant to be used to serve citizens and improve countries end up being in the pockets of greedy leaders instead.

Social media users were left in shock when posts were shared on social media revealing the corruption and nepotism that is taking place at a certain municipality. Some of the people who are hired to run the municipality and serve the people of the community are not qualified, but most of them are in leading positions that are above their qualifications. Some also get jobs simply because they are related to the people who work within the municipality.

Here is the report revealing the nepotism and corruption taking place:

This is sad to see, especially knowing that there are people who went to school to study for the positions that are filled by unqualified people, but instead they are unemployed. And it also explains why the people who are put in positions to serve people, do not deliver because they just do not know how to.

This is how social media reacted after seeing the report:

What do you think can be done to fight corruption within the government?
