Jo'burg Metro Police Department - JMPD has apprehended two suspects who were in possession of stolen cables in Johannesburg Central Business District.

The suspected cable thieves were arrested after their vehicle was parked at the entrance of a Zimbabwean Bus Terminal. The copper cable of two meters long was discovered alongside other tools.
"2x suspects arrested by #JMPD & #SAPS officers in the JHB CBD for possession of suspected stolen cables. The suspect's vehicle which had 2 meters copper cable & tools was found parked at the entrance of the Zimbabwean Bus Terminals."
The issue of cable hijackings is gradually becoming a daily occurrence in South Africa.
