Information was received regarding the location of a vehicle that was used to refuel at a filling station in Amanzimtoti on 16 October 2021, which then sped off without paying, almost knocking staff members in the process.
Once our TRT arrived on scene, the vehicle was boxed in, and members liaised with Amanzimtoti SAPS detectives, who then requested that the driver must be taken to Amanzimtoti SAPS for further questioning.
Upon arrival at Amanzimtoti SAPS, the suspect was positively identified by staff members, and he was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly.
Law enforcements are urging members of the public who might have information that could lead to the apprehension of suspects, who were involved in criminal activities to come forward and give that information so that they can be put to justice.
