The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, said that the sun can't be covered with a finger, but with science and technology. Forbes Magazine has revealed that Gates is currently funding the project, which wants to dim the sun so that our planet can be cool.
Stratospheric Controlled Disturbance Experiment, the research that is being done by the scientists from Harvard University, aims to achieve that the sunlight is reflected outside the earth's atmosphere.
In order to achieve this mission, tons of non-toxic calcium carbonate (CaCO3) will be sprayed into the atmosphere. Stratospheric Controlled Disturbance Experiment is the scientific experiment which aims to advance the understanding of stratospheric aerosols which could be relevant the for solar geoengineering.
What could go wrong? Forbes Magazine has reported that solar geoengineering could bring an unavoidable extreme and risks in the weather patterns. Gates should stop playing God. The sun was made by Him and you can't dim it. People should change their behaviours which causes global warming.
