SASSA Payment Dates For December

The good news about the dates this time around is that they have been brought back to their normalcy. This is something that a lot of people have been complaining about ever since the outbreak of the pandemic. But SASSA made it clear that the main reason behind that is to reduce the overcrowding that happens at the end of the month, hence the dates where moved back. In this article we are going to share with you the payment dates for December.

All the grants will be handed out in the first three days of the month starting from next week. Do take note that this does not apply for the Social Relief Of Distress Grants, because there is no fixed dates for them. The older people's grants will be the first to be prioritized followed by disability and then child maintenence. SASSA has indicated time and again that once the money is made available, it's not mandatory that you collect it on the same day.

Payment Dates for December

Older persons: 1 December (Wednesday)

Disability: 2 December (Thursday)

Child support: 3 December (Friday)

R350: As aforementioned, you have to wait for the approval process to kickstart before you can be allocated with a payment date. This is not a fixed date but it usually begins after all the grants above have been successfully paid.

Unclaimed R350 Grants

We are nearing the deadline for the unclaimed grants from the previous cycle. If you fall under those people, please visit your nearest Post office before the 30th of November otherwise your money will be forfeited.
