Here Is Why The Tender Awarded To Khusela Was declared Invalid.

JOHANNESBURG - The Special Tribunal has pronounced a R103 million PPE delicate granted to a relative of previous official representative Khusela Diko unlawful and invalid.

The delicate was given by the Gauteng Department of Health in April 2020, soon after the nation recorded its most memorable instance of COVID-19.

The Tribunal has requested Thembile Sangoni to repay all benefits procured from the unpredictable and unlawful delicate.

Zakheni Strategic Supplies, an organization claimed by Sangoni, got a delicate responsibility letter from Kabelo Lehloenya, a CFO for the office only 24 hours subsequent to presenting its citation.

This is as per records obtained from the Special Tribunal.

The matter was examined by the Special Investigating Unit, which alluded it to the Special Tribunal.

Judge President of the Tribunal Lebogang Modiba said the unpredictable way in which the delicate was granted was a break to sacred upsides of decency, straightforwardness, value and cost-viability.

She said Zakheni Strategic Supplies was not qualified for the benefits from an unpredictable agreement and requested that the organization supply all examined fiscal summaries that can show the benefit it procured from the agreement to the Tribunal and the SIU in 30 days or less.
