On the 12th of May 2021 one of our ET clients in the Kwamakutha area were robbed at gunpoint.
8 Armed Suspects pounced at around 11pm and held up the guards and proceeded to help themselves to property.
Early this week, our team received information with possible suspects involvement.
An action plan and team was immediately implemented.
On Thursday evening at around 11pm - the team pounced on the first possible suspect.
After interviewing the suspect, it was established that he was infact involved. He then led the team to another property - where one more suspect, along with some of the property taken, was recovered.
The team worked throughout the night hitting several locations.
Five suspects along with around R180 000 worth of property was recovered.
One fire arm used in the robbery was also recovered, along with radio equipment belonging to Metro Police. A vehicle used in the commissioning of the crime have also been impounded.
The investigation is ongoing.
