In the course of changing the car tyre, about 3 men confronted the family after their tyre punctured due to spikes which was placed on the road by these criminals.
One of the the supects shot at the family and the one of the victim shot back at the spikers and hit one of them in the head dead.

Mr Mabasa (Sgt) said his white Ford Fiesta car right front tyre with registration number Dz 62 ch GP was spiked by these criminals. He added that 3 men came out from a nearby Bush and started to shoot at them and Sgt Mabasa had to shoot back at them killing one of the suspect.
