Theft robbery

A courier Bakkie stolen in extension 71 has been found at the border of SA and Zimbabwe. See here

In a story that had a somewhat of a happy ending, a Courier isuzu bakkie which was stolen in Seshego ( extension 71) outside Polokwane on Monday, 08 August 2022 has been recovered by the Musina Police on Tuesday, 09 August 2022 at the beit bridge border in Musina.

Media reports revealed that the isuzu Bakkie was just about to cross the border to Zimbabwe.

Further reports indicated that the canopy was also found abandoned in the bushes, in other part of Seshego yesterday, in the afternoon.

There have been rumours of cars being stolen in South Africa and then send across the border to Zimbabwe or Mozambique. It is there where they will be sold to other African countries.

Home Affairs have created border management authority that will hopefully help in ensuring that they stop the illegal movement of goods between our borders. They will help arrest criminals and hopefully keep undocumented immigrants from also crossing in to our country.
