According to the saps news report, earlier yesterday 3 December 2021 the Northern Cape Crime intelligence unit collaborated with the Upington Border Police to intercept a courier bakkie which was travelling in Paballelo location, Upington, the vehicle was spotted at around 14:00 pm.
However there was no occupant inside the courier bakkie, the suspect had abandoned it by the road, police conducted a thorough search inside the bakkie and made a shocking discovery of drugs worth more than R2 million which consist of Crystal Meth weighing 6,35 kg, bundles of plants, and compressed dagga.
Police also confiscated the bakkie for further investigation, they are still searching for the suspect and if he gets caught he will be charged for dealing in drugs, whoever has information about his whereabouts should contact the saps phone number, information given will remain confidential.
