Gunmen have robbed police officers at a satellite police station in Sir Lowry's Pass. Police spokesperson, Andre Traut says the Hawks have launched a manhunt for three suspects who stole the officers service pistols and electronic equipment: "At around 21:00 the suspects who were armed approached two members who were on duty in the community service centre and held them at gunpoint.
They disarmed the police members and fled with two 9mm service pistols, three cellular telephones and a laptop computer. The members were fortunately not injured during the incident." This is extremely disheartening and it brings a lot of worry to law abiding citizens, if law enforcement officers can easily get robbed while they armed what will happen to a defenseless individual? The best thing to do is to disarm everyone, if anyone is found in possession of a firearm after that they must be sent to prison. This will help limit the access that perpetrators have to getting firearms.
