Vehicular accidents can occur at the strangest times, making them seem like more than accidents. Recently one such accident occured taking the life of a Woman. Here's what she was planning to do at the time of her death as well as my opinion on it.
The Accident :
Early this Morning, At approximately 3:58 AM, Reaction Unit South Africa arrived at an accident scene in Osindisweni. A white Nissan Hard body van was found several meters down an embankment extensively damaged.
According to onlookers at the scene, four people were injured in the accident and one Woman lost her life. While the Woman was pronounced dead on the scene, the four injured were transported to hospital privately.
One of the injured informed Reaction officers that they were on their way to a river to perform a prayer when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The passengers seated in the back were ejected from it and the vehicle traveled down the steep embankment.
My Opinion :
While I don't want to speculate too much, the fact that the occupants of the vehicle were on their way to conduct a prayer does make this a strange case. As prayers can be used for many things. Unfortunately, not knowing what kind of prayer this was does limit us in our opinion. As we can see below, one person who commented had the same theory.
On the other hand this could have just been a coincidence, which proves that we should always be alert when driving on the roads. We can do this by only driving our vehicles at a speed we can handle, not driving when drunk or drunk or drowsy and wearing a seatbelt. Finally when people are seated in the back of a vehicle, make sure that it's safe for them by following your local laws regarding the situation.
