Police stopped a suspicious Quantum on the N12 in Bloemhof and this is what they found hidden inside

The South African Police Service (SAPS) members have managed to secure the successful arrest of two male suspects on charges for possession of stolen property, the suspects are currently detained in jail.

According to the saps news report, yesterday, Tuesday, 24 January 2023 at around 23:00 pm SAPS members followed up on a tip-off they received about a suspect who is transporting stolen Telkom copper cables, the suspects taxi was spotted and stopped on N12 road in Bloemhof.

A thorough search was conducted and 2 tons of Telkom copper cables were found hidden inside the taxi, officers escorted the suspect to his residence in Kimberley where they conducted a raid and recovered more stolen copper cables. A second suspect was also placed under arrest.

A total R3 million worth of stolen copper cables were seized by officers and the two male suspects will soon make an appearance in court to face charges for possession of stolen property.
