The 15 Million bridge caused havoc on social media. People tried to analyse how that poorly built bridge could cost millions of Rands without proper infrastructure.
Athi Geleba the Head of Digital communications in the presidency who is also Club DJ and Entrepreneur DJ Shimza’s girlfriend came to the party’s defence. She tried to justify the figures but no one was having it including former DA Leader Mmusi Maimmane. Mmusi then dragged DJ Shimza who was also criticising the project then things started to get messy. The 2 then exchanged words until Mmusi brought up the rumour that DJ Shimza acquires government tenders through his lover in the presidency. He even brought up an event organised by the Department of Tourism that was hosted at one of DJ Shimza’s establishments.
Dj Shimza tried to defend himself by saying the tender was available for the public to bid and the Department chose his restaurant. Now everyone knows that there is no way he got that tender innocently. Not when he has a girlfriend that holds such a high position. Shimza has been allegedly getting more government gigs including entertainment gigs behind closed doors. Even though he may deny it, he cannot fool everyone by pretending like he doesn’t like the ANC.
