There were five robbers who allegedly got away with various electronic gadgets after they robbed a Covid-19 vaccination team in Tshwane .The robbery reportedly took place on Saturday morning in Soshanguve .
The Gauteng Health department revealed that five men made their way to Wonder City Taxi Rank in a Quantum vehicle .It is then that they robbed the vaccination team .
The vaccination programme gadgets which they reportedly got away with included three tablets, a smartphone and six cell phones .
There was a report as well that was made of hijacking of a vehicle belonging to the district health department in Kagiso on Monday last week .The department´s vehicle and other gadgets were lost during the hijacking as well.
Robbery cases were opened by police in Kagiso and Soshanguve after the devastating robberies. These developments came at a time when the department of health was trying to encourage the members of the public to get vaccinated .
