Road Accident

A terrible Monday morning for South Africa following the deaths of these two people

It was a terrible Monday morning for the South African family as death took away two people.

The two people whose identities are yet to be communicated until their next of kin have been informed were part of the people who got involved in a crash that took place in Empangeni, which is near Richards Bay.

It is unknown what led to the collision between the bus and the truck, but what can be confirmed is that many people got injured in the process, with only two being confirmed dead on the spot by the medics. The truck and the bus reportedly went down an embankment after the collision. This accident comes a day after South Africa is mourning the death of a Mayor from North West, Neo Schalk who died in a car accident.

He was the Naledi municipality Mayor at the time of his death. Still, on the devastation brought upon South Africa on Monday morning, it is sad to notify that there was a paramedic who lost his life while the other was left in a critical condition. This took place after gunshots were reportedly fired at them when they were doing their work on Monday morning. The heartbreaking incident reportedly took place in the Kwa-Zulu Natal´s Estcourt.

The two had bravely responded to a shooting incident that had taken place, unaware that they were putting their lives in grave danger as well.

There were shots that got fired at the ambulance, killing one of the members of the paramedics instantly.

This is indeed a bad way to start a new week of the new month of October. There have already been lost lives before a week has even gone by in the new month.

Some say a bad start always has a good ending, while in some instances, a bad start to something is a sign of bad things that will come. What are your thoughts regarding the month of October?
