A report was issued by eNCA news , one of South Africa's most trusted and reliable news companies of man from Kwa-Zulu Natal who allegedly confessed to killing his girlfriend but reportedly released .
Police reportedly found a knife and blood in his house , but they did not find the body of the alleged woman .
In accordance with the eNCA report ,the 40-year old man was released as he was not charged with anything .He had been in custody for a few days and today was supposed to be his first day in court according to the report by eNCA.
In the report by eNCA , it was stated that he allegedly confessed to having killed his girlfriend , but he did not make a formal confession .
The eNCA had earlier reported that he had allegedly led them to where he had disposed her body in a river , but police did not find the remains of the victim.
According to eNCA , the man had handed himself on Sunday .The motive behind the killing was not revealed , but the body is yet to be found .
