President Cyril Ramaphosa says he has told clergyman of Sports, Arts and Culture to drop the much discussed South African banner venture which was supposed to cost the country R22 million.

This caused public shock, with many expressing that regardless of how diligently Nyathi Mthethwa attempted to legitimize such a consumption, it was anything but really important in South Africa where joblessness, and neediness has ascended to a brain blowing rate.

Ramaphosa said he let Nathi Mthethwa know that the undertaking is excessively costly, thus it should be dropped.

"Mthethwa comes to me, he says please president let me know when I can call you, so I said Mthethwa I'm in a bureau meeting, we will talk a while later. I got back to him and he said; ah president this banner thing which is a particularly brilliant drive it appears to be our kin are not content with it," he said.

Cyril Ramaphosa further uncovered that Mthethwa looked for guidance on what he ought to do particularly after such a lot of opposition from the South Africans concerning the banner task.

"So I said obviously they are upset, I said drop this thing," Ramaphosa uncovered.

Pundits anyway contend that when bureau endorsed this R22 million banner venture, president Cyril Ramaphosa had some awareness of it, and presently seeing public shock, he is going about as though the task thought was not examined with him first prior to being uncovered to people in general.

ANC veteran, and previous president Jacob Zuma's resolute partner, Carl Niehaus said Ramaphosa led the entire bureau which endorsed the 100 meter banner at the expense of R22 million, yet he presently need to absolve himself following public shock.

"I miss the joke. This one thinks we are all Popeyes. Bureau supported the regrettable 100m R 22 000 000 banner. An entire Cabinet led by Cyril Ramaphosa. He saw nothing off-base. Now that our country is rankled, he basically needs to wriggle himself out of it. Not ayoba!" Niehaus said.
