It has not been 2 days since alcohol has been unbanned and things are already going crazy in South Africa. Initially, the alcohol ban was to prevent such trauma cases from occurring so that people who actually have the coronavirus can find help in hospitals that are not overly populated by the victims of alcohol abuse-related incidences. A man in has sent 5 people into the same hospital trauma ward in the first day of the alcohol ban and South Africa is going crazy over the news.

Late on Tuesday the 2nd of February, news appeared on Facebook and Twitter about a man who had just drove into Global petrol station in Sharpville and shot himself in the head. Initially, this news came from a Twitter user who was reportedly just taking a drive and decided to pass by the petrol station to fill up to his car, according to him as soon as he parked his car, this unknown man drove inside the garage, came out with a gun and just shot himself.

As one can see from the above tweets the guy parked in front of his car, and shot himself in cold blood. The man was so traumatised he then posted it on Twitter, only for the story to unfold even more after the story came out when people started sharing the story on social media and other people were contributing on the matter. Luckily the garage had security cameras and they allowed the man to view the video as the whole thing unfolded

A video from the garage captures every action done by this mysterious man. He can be seen in the picture below holding a gun to his head. His car is abnormally parked in the middle of the garage. People can be seen running away from the scene as soon as the guy comes out with the gun. The strange part is that the man didn't want to kill anyone else except himself. He just got out of the car and shot himself. It turned out the man who shot himself was a murderer.

According to the very same man who witnessed the crime, the man had killed people before making his way to the garage. This is what he was told through a phone call:

"I just got a call now...apparently he is the same guy who killed 5 people in Vanderbijlpark about an hour ago...he drove over 3 people and shot 2 people before coming here..."

This then made sense as to why the man was doing what he did. Several people also confirmed the story on social media. A second Twitter user by the name of @AnonymousSA said the following:

"This man apparently committed suicide in Sharpville after killing his wife and children. He then drove to a nearby Slap chips Vanderbijipark near MacDonald was he pumped in numerous cars and fire gunshots to people around. After that went to Global Garage were he killed himself."

Most of this story is still unfolding. The total death toll from this person is unknown. The identity of the man has not yet been identified since the police from Sharpville have not released an official statement regarding the matter. There are many loopholes in the story at the current moment but there is a woman on Facebook who is a relative of the people he short, she confirmed that indeed this whole thing happened and her uncle and nephew were two of the people he shot and are currently in hospital.

It turned out that the nephew did not make it in the end and the uncle was moved to a different hospital as he was getting critical. An official report will be released by the police and we shall keep you updated as more of the story unfolds. All that is known now is that the man is a white man in his 50s and has killed several people.
