A police officer at the scene of an alleged gang rape at Kirkup Gardens, Wythenshave Manchester. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the women in her 20s was raped by a group of men in Wythenshawe overnight.
Officers were called shortly after 12:30 am on tuesday to a reported attack in Kirkup Gardens.the force said a significant police presence remain in place as officers continue to search for evidence at the scene where the incident took place. No arrests have been made. Chief inspector Cara of GPM's City of Manchester South Said that, A truly horrendous incident took place last night and we are supporting the victim at this hard time for her with the specialist officers said Chief inspector. He said that at this stage this appears to have a random and sickening attack and our officera are working day and night to identify those responsible.
