In the last few months, there has been an alarming increase in the number of occurrences of accidents. Some accidents are the result of reckless driving, some are the result of bribery, while others are the result of mechanical difficulties with the car.

A middle-aged man named Bonface Luvai is alleged to have been on his way back from picking up his wife's lone daughter, Lavigne Luvai, from Silungai Secondary School, when the trailer collided with them at around 5 p.m. yesterday evening.
According to accounts, the two men died while on their way to the hospital, which is not confirmed.
Mr. Lyanda Mulati, the area administrator, stated "Boniface is a farmer who also happens to be a bodaboda driver. He has been picking her up from school every morning and evening since she was in first grade because he was unable to send her to boarding school owing to budgetary constraints."
