An Afrikaner-only settlement of Orania in the Northern Cape is currently busy producing its own electricity or power to serve during the time of load shedding.

This town has a goal that after at least five years, they should be able to be independent and no longer dependent on Eskom for power supply since the are always power cuts when its Eskom supplying electricity.
This shows just the lack of confidence that the people have on the power supply that is currently serving South Africa, and this is something that the government should start working towards it ensure that people have electricity at all times.
However some South Africans have started criticising this town saying that the fact that it contains Afrikaner people shoes that are petite still appreciated in South Africa.
This is because people feel that this guys have been separated from black poor masses, and they should’ve been in the same areas.
