it was terrible for the kids who were evicted at the place they love the most, by police because the owner of crèche didn't have the agreement with the new building owner. The building that the creche was using for years was sold to the new owner , he is only buying the land for development purposes. The new land owner says they have meet with the crèche principal many times with no agreement.
The property where the crèche was operating got the new owners after the 55 gugulethu pty Ltd buy the property. Then the communication between the crèche and the new property owner was not in good terms because they never reach agreement. The 55 gugulethu company told the media that they tried everything but with no useful agreement.
The 55 gugulethu pty Ltd say the crèche principal never cooperate when ever they meet they go on to say the property the crèche was using was without water connection , he say the crèche was paying nothing . In the other hand the crèche principal Mrs Nombulelo mzimkulu claims she only got the eviction letter in the morning. And she knows nothing about the eviction .
Mrs Nombulelo mzimkulu say she don't know what to do , because the crèche was helping the community for almost 40 years . She was doing arrangement with neighbour's to keep remaining children safe. community was crowded at the gate some even try to trespass into the property. But the police were there to protect the property they even fire warning bullets to disperse the community who gathered at the gate.
She say the police fire shots in the present small children it was terrible
Mrs Nombulelo mzimkulu say she is waiting for her lawers place to tell her what to do about matter. She mentioned that other parents managed to fetch their children but others did managed because their parents are at work.
