Eskom Free State implements load reduction in Lejweleputswa District.
MONDAY, 04 OCTOBER 2021: To avoid overloading the Eskom network and damage to our infrastructure in high-density areas that are prone to network overloading, Eskom will implement load reduction during the evening peak hours of Monday, 04 October 2021.
The implementation of load reduction will take effect from 17:00 until 20:00. The following areas in Lejweleputswa District will be affected:
SUBSTATION - FEEDER NAME
SOWETO SW STN - SOWETO CHARLIE
THABONG EAST - BETA OVERHEAD LINE
AREA/S TO BE AFFECTED
THABONG SECTIONS - ROMAN CATHOLIC,
SEABO PRIMARY. THOKOZA
THABONG SECTIONS -ORANGE GROOVE.
LEMOTSO PRIMARY AREA
Daily updates will be issued to the media and published on Eskom's various social media platforms. Customers should not log a fault during the load reduction periods and should treat all installations as live and dangerous.
