SAD: Look at what Bheki Cele did as he got to mortuary where bodies of Enyobeni victims were taken

Police Minister Bheki Cele has arrived in Eastern Cape. As he arrived, Cele struggled to contain himself outside the East London Mortuary where the bodies of 20 young people who passed away at EnyobeniTavern in East London were taken. Bheki Cele broke down and cried uncontrollably in public. We can't blame him, what happened at that tavern is tragic. Every person who is a parent has been devastated by the incident. Bheki Cele feels defeated by the unfortunate incident. Many have labeled the Minister as incompetent and caring less about what happens in the country but him crying like that shows that he is concerned.

Bheki Cele on Sunday did not hold back when he lashed out at community members of Scenery Park in East London where 20 young people died at the Enyobeni tavern in the early hours of the morning. Speaking to the devastated community members, Bheki Cele directed blame to the parents. "How do you go to Ned as a parent without knowing where your 13-year-old child is?", Cele said. I know you won't like what I said but I did nit come here to say things that you will like but reality, Cele added. Cele added that he stay with hi boy who is in university in Cape Town. "He came back home after 11pm on Friday night and I sat him down and told him you don’t come home after 11pm,” Cele said, adding  that every parent had a responsibility to parent their children.

Enyobeni tavern in East London should be permanently closed and the owner should be arrested for negligence. This is what many South Africans are saying after the incident. According to Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane, 17 people died at the tavern in Scenery Park. Three more later died in hospital. A total of 35 people have been reported missing, according to a community list.

Tavern owner devastated

It has been reported that the tavern owner is too devastated after what happened at his tavern. One question that we ask ourselves is how did the owner allow such young children in the tavern. He acted irresponsibly and he has a few questions to answer.

This incident is tragic indeed. We will blame everyone else but ourselves. Parents will blame tavern owner, tavern owner will blame parents and patrons. Community will blame government for a 13 year old not being in bed etc...but no self accountability as to why our society is so rotten. Who do you blame? Please share your thoughts.
