Caught In The Act: Vandals caught breaking Down These Robots In Johannesburg

""Our country's infrastructure is being stripped in front of our eyes, do we even still have a government, " these are the word of former Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba, who has been on a mission to get Johannesburg back in the good books of many.

Joburg has been riddled with crime in recent years and many are even scared to go to the Joburg CBD due to the armed robberies, pick-pocketing and assaults that happen.

These robberies and theft cases have been attributed to the influx of foreigners who have taken over the mail cities of the country.

Today, Mashaba shared a video clip of a group of young men breaking down a traffic light and stealing it together with the cables in it. The video has since been shared far and wide, with many condemning the theft of traffic lights, something which has been a major problem in South African roads, the lack of working traffic lights.

Many have blamed the market of selling steel as thugs now target steel to sell off at scrap yards.
