According to a news report published by Reaction Unit South Africa, earlier today, on January 20, 2022, at approximately 15:03 pm, a 42-year-old woman driving her blue Mercedes-Benz C220 along New Glasgow Road in Canelands, KZN was forced to jump out of the vehicle while it was still moving after her airbag deployed on its own.

RUSA members were dispatched to the scene to assist her. According to the woman's statement, she had just returned from repairing the vehicle at a mechanic and was on her way home to Hazelmare, KZN, when the airbag on the driver's side suddenly deployed and the vehicle began to roll downhill. She managed to jump out of the vehicle just before it collided with a wall before coming to a stop in a ditch.

Considering that the woman was unable to verify the extent of the work that was performed on her vehicle at this point, the technician who was responsible for performing the repairs on her vehicle could find himself in serious problems because his incorrect work placed the woman's life in danger.
