
There are currently taxi unrests which have led to violence and multiple vehicles burnt. The disruption are in Bochum.
It is believed that the Bochum and Gauteng taxi associations had a disagreement which fuelled tessions at a complex in Bochum, where the rank is situated.
Gunshots were also witnessed when the disagreements began, however no people have been reported as death or injured because of the unrests.
Both taxi associations have not revealed what the cause of the tension is, and if any further action will be taken or if the issues have been resolved.
Recently there were taxi wars that transpired in Polokwane which also led to vehicles being burnt.
It is not clear what led to the disagreements, because this is still a developing story, however members of the public are urged to stay safe and taxi officials are expected to keep order to prevent further unrests.
