Women are increasingly being found murdered in South Africa, often by the very people they trusted the most. Every day, women are subjected to a slew of heinous crimes, many of which go unpunished. Almost every day, we hear of new cases of women who have gone missing, have been sexually assaulted, or have been subjected to other horrific abuse.

They resorted to Facebook to plead for help in finding a man who had absconded. To find Awelani Mudau, she asked Venda people from Ha-Mashu Thenga to help her. She went on to say that he had murdered a woman in Gauteng before.

On the photographs posted, he killed a woman named Ahuna, who was renting a rear room. He is reported to have murdered the lady before fleeing to Venda. He then sent a message to the landlord, requesting that they examine his room, where they would find the body of the woman. According to the remarks, a case has been opened, but the suspect is on the run at the moment.
