Eastern Cape - A popular Motherwell entrepreneur died in Livingstone Hospital on Monday night after he was shot a few blocks from his restaurant. It is very sad how crime is increasing on a daily basis and how perpetrators are becoming dominant in our communities. Many lives have been claimed through crime and it is getting out of hand, something has to be done because people can't continue losing their loved ones in such a manner.

Law enforcement officers should work towards disarming perpetrators and ensuring that no firearms leave their stations because this is one of the major reasons why crime isn't stopping. A lot of families have been left stranded due to breadwinner being killed, you can imagine the pain of the loss of a loved one and knowing that you don't have a provider anymore. People can no longer open their businesses in peace because perpetrators feel like they own everything in this world. May his soul rest in peace.
