The police made a big drug bust at a house on Bhoola road in Effingham heights over R1.5 million worth of drugs were confiscated by the police.
According to the SAPS news report the police from the provincial drug and firearm unit conducted an operation which led to raid at a house on Bhoola road in Effingham heights, the raid was conducted yesterday 6 March 2021, the police made a big discovery of different varieties of cocaine at the house.
Two suspects in their 40s where arrested after the police found 85 moons of rock cocaine, 3,7 Kg of powder cocaine, 15 spice bottles containing rock cocaine and five boxes of bicarbonate of soda, all of these drugs are estimated to have a street value of R1.5 million.
The police also confiscated R94 160 from the the house the money is suspected to be generated from selling drugs, the suspects are expected to appear at the Durban Magistrate's court on Monday 8 March 2021 for being in possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
More investigation will be done to determine whether these men are working alone or there are other people involved in the operation.
