Much- needed housimg development for elderly Gugulethi residents in cape town have been put on the back burner because of land invaders.
Authorities say they have not yet reached an agreement with the small scale farmers who are occupying the land elegally.
The residents are sayingbthey have been statingnin these shacks and they are collapsing now because they are old.
This community member shares her ome bedroom shack woth her three children, she has given up hope of having a house to ever call her own.
