Weather Warning issued for SA, Here's a list of affected areas and how to protect yourself.

For many places in South Africa the weather has been gloomy for a while now and sadly, it not going to get any better as South Africa has issued a weather warning for many parts of South Africa. Below I will give you a list of the affected areas and how to protect yourself from the bad weather.

The storms are coming :

The weather warning has been classified as a level two warning and there is a chance that things could get really bad. The weather can cause damage to property and people should expect some local floodings, hail and heavy winds and serious downpours. The list of affected areas are down below.

North West

Free State

Gauteng

Limpopo

Mpumalanga

The listed areas are at a significant risk of the bad weather conditions, however it doesn't mean that other areas also won't feel the effects of it. So it's good to always be prepared. Below I have put together a set of tips to follow.

How to protect yourself from the weather :

If you encounter this weather on your way home from work than remember to stay alert and reduce your speed, as well as leave a safe stopping distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you. If you are at home that I would advise you get your candles ready and cook your meals as early as possible as bad weather is known to affect our electricity grid.

Also cook your meals as early as possible and prepare for what may be a long night. You may even want to turn this into a family bonding night and play some games with your children. Just because the weather is bad, it doesn't mean it has to ruin your mood too. What do you think of these observations, tell me in the comments section and follow for more news as it happens.
