Fire kills THREE children in Cape town informal settlement

It has been reported that three children sadly passed away in Western cape after it was reported that there was a fire in the informal settlement.

According to Sowetan Live, there was a fire in a place called Wesbank, which is located in Cape town, Western cape on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, the fire claimed three innocent lives. It is believed that the children who passed away were 1, 4 and 9 years old.

The fire fighters of Cape town were alerted about the incident in the early hours on the 2nd of July 2022.

As they were fighting the fire, they discovered three bodies of children who had already passed on.

Jermaine Carelse, who is the City Fire, did reveal that the rescue team was informed about the fire around 02:15am in the morning on Saturday.

He further stated that the information settlement was completely destroyed by the fire and the incident was handed over to the police.
