Deputy Minister Hlengiwe Mkhize passes away

Some miserable news coming from government: Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and People with Disabilities, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize has passed on at 69 years old. 

Mkhize's reason for death is yet to be affirmed now. It comes only ten days after the representative pastor was commending her birthday. 

The African National Executive Committee (NEC) part has served in different portfolios, including Home Affairs and Higher Education under previous president Jacob Zuma. 

Mkhize's demise is without a doubt one more misfortune for the decision party, as it as of late needed to say goodbye to MKMVA pioneer Kebby Maphatsoe, who experienced heart failure. 


As per the People's Assembly, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize has filled in as a MP since 2009 and was an establishing part and trustee of the Children and Violence Trust since 1995. 

Mkhize flaunts a solid scholastic foundation, having been a senior teacher and analyst at Wits from 1990 until 1995. 

The representative pastor holds a BA degree in Psychology, Social Work and Sociology (University of Zululand), BA Hons (Psychology) and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Natal. 

She was a board individual from the South African Prisoner's Organization for Human Rights from 1994 to 1995, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Commissioner and Chairperson of the Reparations and Rehabilitation panel from 1995 to 2003. 

Mkhize recently filled in as South Africa's envoy to the Netherlands and was likewise the Deputy Minister for Correctional Services, and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services
