A Free State cop has been captured for supposedly killing his better half, likewise a cop.
The spouse, a 33-year-old constable, was captured in Welkom on Tuesday.
"He is associated with killing his better half [on Monday] night. The cop was captured at Odendaalsrus police headquarters with two guns in his ownership, one being an unlicensed gun," Free Police Analytical Directorate (IPID) representative Ndileka Cola said.

A few was supposedly last seen together when they dropped off their 17-month-old little child at the spouse's mom on Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, the body of the person in question, a sergeant, was found in a street.
"Cops were called to the scene [and] they tracked down the perished's body in night robe with a discharge wound. All her significant assets were still with her. The police sergeant was proclaimed dead on the scene by a wellbeing professional," Cola said.
IPID is examining the situation and a posthumous is planned for Wednesday.
"The speculate will be accused of homicide on Wednesday and he will show up in the Welkom Officer's Court on Thursday," Cola added.
