
People in Soweto have once again taken the law into their own hands by conducting an illegal operation called "Operation Dudula", the operation was conducted in the township of Alexander earlier today.
According to the South African daily news report, earlier today 21 January 2022 people living in Soweto went to the Township of Alexandra to conduct an illegal operation called "Operation Dudula", the operation is aimed at hunting down illegal foreign nationals and handing them over to the police.
A video footage of the operation was leaked all over social media, on the video an old man can be heard telling an old woman " We are going to Burn You" while the old woman takes out an ID to show him that she is South African, the mob also ransacked the shacks and threw away the belongings of foreign nationals who stay there.
The video of the incident can be viewed on the South African daily news Facebook page.
