A young woman from Bushbuckridge posted on Facebook on Sunday warning people about 2 alleged perpetrators who she accused of raping her under false pretenses. She claimed that the perpetrators gave her a lift after going out under false pretenses and proceeded to rape her. With the rise of gender based violence cases in south Africa it is alarming that most of the social media users who insulted her and victimized her, are woman who claim to know the perpetrators and allege that they are not capable of such crime.
"Be aware of this serial rapists, he'll offer u a lift & promise you money only to rape you he's from Nelspruit, if anyone knows any information about him inbox me" ,wrote the aggrieved woman on Facebook. Some people claimed that she was lying and that it was a deal gone wrong, and she was just looking for attention, regardless of her reason no one offered her support but rather everyone continued to condemn the young woman.
Social media users went as far as saying that he profile picture proves that she is a slay queen and deserves what she got because she wanted to sell herself.

Happy Junior Mkhonto :"Gents ...my advice stay away from broke slay queens. if promise her money and you don't fulfill your promise she'll say you raped her."
After the attack the woman experience she posted that she is looking to buy a gun because she cant even go to work due to the amount of people who are calling her and threatening her. She explained that people should prepare for her funeral in the next coming weekend. Despite the post , people still continued to condemn and threaten her .

You Don't have to maintain this, its obvious you had an agreement with Enny , details known to both of you but if you continue this rollercoaster you will end up with very messed up future and I'm not so sure, but I think you can still fix this outside social media cause the guys have enough evidence against you".
People need to understand that rape can happen under any circumstances and anyone can get raped by people they know. Women should be ashamed of victim blaming because its the reason that many people don't come forward and speak openly about such incidents,
NO MEANS NO.. IT DOESNT MATTER IF ITS YOUR PARTNER OR FRIEND OR EVEN FAMILY MEMBER. Victim blaming exists and causes more damage.
STOP BEING ENABLERS TO ABUSERS AND RAPISTS.
