Gone In 10 Seconds, Zimbabwean Couple Lose R120 000 After Being Sent To Buy A Ford Ranger

Zimbabweans Robbed By Suspects

A Zimbabwean couple who arrived at King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) from Harare was robbed of 8000 US Dollars which is an equivalent of R120 000, it has been revealed that the suspects were either pretending to be police or they were actual police officers.

The 53-Year-Old businessman and his 47-Year-Old wife arrived in Durban via Johannesburg at 13:00, they were heading to a car dealership by an aunt who resided in Washington DC and had previously purchased vehicles here.

The aunt wanted to purchase an orange Ford Ranger for R184 315 and transport the vehicle to Zimbabwe, however the couple was due for viewing and purchase when they came under attack and they lost the money.

Most people are just suspicious of these couple’s behaviour or unfortunate circumstance, especially if you have to consider how the suspects had known that they were in possession of a lot of money so of course but in other members of the public are just not trusting in this incident.
