Unrepentant Drug Dealer Sentenced To 14 Months Imprisonment

The Secunda District Court has condemned drug broker Belinda Swart, matured 53, to 14 months detainment, suspended for a long time. Swart was captured on January 13 by the Hawks' Serious Organized Crime Investigation unit situated in Secunda, related to Crime Intelligence and the K9 unit. The police units were responding to data about drug managing occurring around Secunda.

"A problematic pursuit and seizure activity was executed in the vicinity and the suspect (Swart) was tracked down possessing drugs, gem meth," said Hawks commonplace representative in Mpumalanga, Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi.

After her capture, Hawks examinations uncovered that Swart was recently captured in 2018 for negation of the Endlessly sedates Trafficking Act. She had been viewed as liable in August 2018 and condemned to three years detainment, of which one year and a half year were suspended for a long time. In that sentence, she was given a choice of paying R12 000 affirmation of culpability.
