The head-on collision occurred on the R42 between Delmas and Bronkhorstspruit at around 05:30 on Friday. Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison spokesperson Moeti Mmusi said.
The deceased were two males and two females, include their driver and other passengers. They were certified dead at the scene.
Those witnessed the incident said, Another two people were seriously injured, and they are receiving medical attention at a hospital in Delmas, according to Mmusi.
The road safety are always caution people to drive safe all time, this incident will the second fatal accident in the province in as many days.
On Thursday, two people died when a light delivery vehicle crashed on the R40 between Mbombela and Barberton. The deceased were passengers at the back of the vehicle,incident witnessed said. Five other people were injured – three of them seriously – when the driver lost out control of the vehicle.
