Mmusi Maimane did this to show sympathy to the people of eSwatini

As Africa, as South Africa we must stand with the people of #eSwatini. We must stand with those fighting for Justice and fighting for a future.

Bagaetsho we cannot be silent, we cannot be complacent, there is a fire next door. We have an obligation.

When we read the parable of the Good Samaritan we often believe that we are him, not those who walked past suffering because they were occupied with their own lives.

It takes a conscious decision to be sensitive to the suffering of others, to obligations bigger than ourselves. Why can we jump next door when we are failing to fight with crime that is all over South Africa, we are losing our cars and drugs are all over? Let us clean our country as people first.

When Zambia and Tanzania hosted South African freedom fighters, the conditions of their countries were not perfect.

They did what they could do because they appreciated the importance of the cause.

There is no perfect time to speak up, to help our fellow brothers and sisters.

That's a Mayor speaking there. Us we're just ordinary citizens. No political voice or connection. This thing is easy if political names like yours act. No just speaking in rhetoric. Make resources available for the people of Eswatini to fight a successful strike.

Democracy is a mode of governance only possible through respect of rules and laws put forward by people or their representatives. The problem with Africa is we break the same laws&rules and still want to assume we are Democratic and live as if we are while we are not.
