Father Of 3 Girls Murdered In New Zealand Returns To SA

The father of the three little girls who were murdered in New Zealand, Graham Dickason has returned to South Africa.

The New Zealand herald has reported that the father recently left New Zealand and flew back to South Africa. It is not known when he plans to return to New Zealand.

Dr Graham Dickason emigrated to New Zealand with his wife, Lauren ( who is a doctor) and his three young daughters when he got a job as an orthopaedic surgeon in a hospital in Timaru. The family moved to the country and was placed in quarantine. Shortly after their quarantine Lauren strangled her three daughters with cable ties. The bodies of the children were discovered by their father.

It was reported that Lauren stopped taking her depression medication due to strict emigration policies in New Zealand. It is believed that this could have contributed to her having a psychotic break and murdering her children.

She has since pleaded not guilty to the crime and is currently in a pyschological facility. Her trial will take place in 2023.
